Girls Night Out to Benefit Autism Speaks

I generally do not make personal posts on this blog, however, I want to share with you an event I will be participating in on Thursday, September 17th. It is Richmond's first Girls Night Out! event to benefit Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks is an organization dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder.

So, what's the personal part of this post? I have a child with autism. We deal with this order every day, 24/7. I am proud to participate in this event and hope that if you are in the Richmond, VA area you will come out to support this fundraiser. If you're not local please consider getting informed and getting involved in events in your area to benefit Autism Speaks. You can visit their website at: www.autismspeaks.org

Here are the details on Girls Night Out! to benefit Autism Speaks
